Welcome Back Updates (Aug 20)
Dear Cambrian Heights School 2023-24 families,
Welcome, or welcome back! Hopefully you have all had a wonderful summer. Our Cambrian Heights staff is excited to see you all at school soon!
Our school is not open until Monday August 28, but we’d like to remind you of some important information items that you would have received via SchoolMessenger in June. Any information we send from the office via SchoolMessenger is also posted in the News Story section on our Cambrian Heights School Website. This way if you miss a school-wide message, you can still access the information. You can find even more information on the CBE Website.
Our school office will re-open on Monday, August 28. Below are previous information items that have been sent out. Please check your SchoolMessenger as you’ll be receiving an update email from one of the grade team teachers to let you know exactly who will be meeting your child on the first day of school, as well as where they will find one another. This should come to you by Tuesday, August 29.
- June-August News and Save the Dates
- Please note we have an open house when you can meet your grade team teachers and see classrooms on Wednesday August 30 between 10:00-12:00.
- The first day of school is Thursday, August 31 for Grades 1-6. Kindergarten families please check the calendar carefully because you don’t all start on this day!

- Cambrian Heights School Printable Calendars – Please remember that our Fridays end at 11:55am for all students.
- School Office Hours
- Our friendly school secretaries Jennifer Boyce and Samantha Pullen are happy to answer any questions from you during office hours. Please understand that the office is very busy around bell times and dismissal, so if you need to speak with them at entry or end of day, there may be a short wait until attendance is completed, and students are safely home or on the bus. Thank you for your understanding!
- Mondays to Thursdays: 8:00-3:00
- Fridays 8:00-1:00
- Our school office is normally closed on non-instructional days, but is OPEN for August 28, 29, 30, and June 28
