One way parents/guardians can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on our school’s parent society. Parent societies are a formal group of parents, incorporated under the Societies Act for the purpose of raising funds for the school. A society is a separate legal entity from the school council. More information can be found in our CBE Administrative Regulation 5001 – School Councils and School/Parent Societies.

About Our Parent Society
Our Parent Society is Known as the Cambrian Heights School Fundraising Society
The Fundraising Society is a registered society set up by parents to support the school and School Council through fundraising efforts. Funds are raised primarily at a casino held every eighteen months and through smaller events like our Special Lunch Days and this year our SUTP coupon books. The Association has funded projects including the creative playground, the naturalization area, fine arts residencies, buses for class field trips as well as our school mural project and computer-related equipment.
The Cambrian Heights School Fundraising Society convenes monthly on Monday mornings for virtual meetings.
