Registration at Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE is governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission.

Kindergarten Orientation

School and Classroom Visits
We will have a time for a school visit at the end of August, when the new kindergarten space is set up. If you feel your child has a unique situation that would require an early transition visit, please contact us.
2025-26 Kindergarten Calendar and Kindergarten Hours
School hours and calendar for 2025-26 will be confirmed in June. You will receive a staggered entry schedule for the first two days of school. Your child will not attend every day during the staggered entry. Our current school hours are 8:00am –10:50am for AM and 11:40am-2:30pm for PM, with selected Fridays 8:00-12:00pm.
AM/PM Class Placement
We expect that we will have enough students registered for an AM and PM class in September, however, if we receive less students than expected, we would create a single AM class. We have done our best to honor your preferences for AM or PM class and are unable to make any further changes at this time.
Transportation and Before/After School Care
There is one-way bus transportation for Kindergarten: to school for the AM class and home from school for the PM class. Students can ride the bus both ways on Fridays. Families are responsible for mid-day transportation Monday-Thursday. We have (Children) Kids Come First before/after school care located within our school. This is a private rental group not associated with CBE. Please contact them if you are interested in more information.
Families need to pre-register for transportation by June 22. If you do not pre-register there could be up to a 6-week wait before your child can ride the bus in September.
