This letter is to inform you of an upcoming staff change for Cambrian Heights School. Mr. Whitton will be joining the staff as new principal at Cecil Swanson School commencing Tuesday, April 2. 

I have appreciated having Mr. Whitton support the teaching and learning of staff and students at Cambrian Heights School. The search for Mr. Whitton’s replacement will commence immediately. I anticipate the new principal will be announced before the end of the school year. In the interim, Mrs. Carol Hansen, retired principal, will be assuming the role of principal. She and I will be working closely with the incoming principal to ensure a seamless transition.

 The survey will be open from March 22 to April 12, 2024. 

Education Director Martine Sawatzky will be interviewing candidates along with other Directors and will make a recommendation to the Chief Superintendent regarding a candidate. Your input is shared directly with the successful candidate.
