Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are thrilled to announce an exciting overnight outdoor school experience for our Grade 6 students at Camp Chief Hector from March 3-6, 2024. For over thirty years, Camp Chief Hector has provided unique, curriculum-enhancing programs that help students build communication and cooperation skills while creating shared memories that bridge different backgrounds. Camp programs are designed around the YMCA’s four core values: Caring, Honesty, Responsibility, and Respect.
This experience will also serve as a memorable milestone for our Grade 6 students as they near the end of their elementary school journey. As they prepare to transition to Junior High, this opportunity will allow them to create lasting memories that celebrate their time at Cambrian Heights School, strengthen their bonds with classmates, and celebrate this important stage in their education. While our Grade 5 students are not participating this year, they will have the opportunity to look forward to this experience in the future when they are in Grade 6.
To provide you with all the details about this upcoming adventure and to answer any questions, we’ll be hosting an informational meeting:
Date: Thursday, November 21
Time: 6:00 PM
Location: Cambrian Heights School
We look forward to sharing more about what students can expect from this enriching experience and addressing any questions you may have. We hope to see you there!
Warm regards,
Todd Webber
Principal,
Cambrian Heights School
