FINAL WEEKLY UPDATE

2023 – 2024 School Year

Dear Cambrian Heights School Community,

I can hardly believe it’s already been a month since I joined this incredible school community. Over this short period, I've had the pleasure of forming wonderful connections with our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive parents. I am truly humbled and honored to be a part of such a fantastic and vibrant community.

As we look forward to the next school year, I am excited to continue this journey with all of you. Working in partnership with our community is a privilege, and I am committed to promoting a positive and enriching environment for our students.

To our students, I wish you a safe and enjoyable summer. Take this time to relax, explore new interests, and make great memories with your friends and family. Remember to stay safe and come back refreshed and ready for another fantastic year at Cambrian Heights School.

Warm regards,

Todd Webber

Principal, Cambrian Heights School

Activity Day at Cambrian Heights School

Our final week of school was highlighted by an exciting and diverse Activity Day! Students enjoyed a variety of activities, ranging from physical challenges like potato sack races, a soccer skills challenge, Omnicon volleyball, and Bocce Ball, to calmer pursuits like mindful drawing, puzzles, and chalk art. This blend ensured that everyone had a fantastic time, whether they were looking for high-energy fun or a more relaxed experience.

Special thanks go to our Grade 6 leaders, who did an outstanding job guiding groups between stations and supporting our younger learners throughout the day. We also extend our gratitude to the Cambrian Heights Parent Association for their generous donation of delicious popcorn snacks for all students.  Also, thank you to the parent volunteers who generously donated their time to support staff and students throughout the day.  Thank you!!

The day culminated in an exhilarating track and field event where the whole school gathered to cheer on the top runners from each grade as they competed for first, second, and third place ribbons in their age groups. It was a memorable and spirited end to an incredible day!

Farewell Assembly

We wrapped up the school year with an exciting and heartfelt assembly. Our students showcased their talents in a schoolwide karaoke session, and impressive Battle of the Bands performances. We also took a moment to bid farewell to some staff members who are leaving us: Ms. H (Literacy Support Teacher), Ms. Kaur (Grade 1/2), and Ms. Faith (Education Assistant). Their contributions to our school community have been invaluable, and they will be greatly missed.
