 Pullover hoodies in 4 colours

  • T-shirts in 4 colours
  • New this year…zip-up hoodies in 2 colours only

Once the store closes, all orders will be processed and delivered to the school about two weeks later, then handed out to students. Thank you for showing your Cougar pride!

AMA School Safety Patrol is Underway!

This week our Grade 5 and 6 AMA School Safety Patrol leaders completed their training and have officially begun their important work! Each day, these dedicated students will be volunteering their time before and after school to help ensure safe crossings for our community. A staff member will always be alongside them, and together we’re working as a team to help keep everyone safe.

We ask all families to support our patrollers by following their directions at the crosswalk and encouraging them for their hard work and service. Throughout the year, we recognize their commitment with pizza lunches, hot chocolate on cold days, and continuing the tradition of sending our patrollers to the AMA Patrol Picnic at Heritage Park.

 Parent-Teacher Conferences & Open House – September 29

On Friday, September 29, teachers will be meeting with families in the morning (8:00–12:00) for scheduled conferences. These meetings are by teacher invitation and request, and allow for focused conversations with families who may benefit from an early check-in.

In the afternoon (1:00–2:30), we invite all other families to join us for an Open House. This is a wonderful opportunity to visit your child’s classroom, connect informally with teachers, and see some of the exciting learning that is already underway this year.

If you are not available on September 29, please know that our teachers are always happy to connect at another time. You can email your child’s teacher directly or call the school office to arrange a meeting. We value strong home-school partnerships and welcome these conversations anytime throughout the year.

T.H.I.N.K. Leaders in Action

Our Grade 6 leaders have been busy creating T.H.I.N.K. posters (Is it True? Is it Helpful? Is it Inspiring? Is it Necessary? Is it Kind?). They’ve been sharing these posters with classrooms across the school and leading short, 5-minute conversation about what T.H.I.N.K. means, why it matters, and how we can all use it to make our school community even stronger.  Check out on of the posters they created on our Instagram page at @cambrian_heights_CBE

Have a wonderful weekend!

Cambrian Heights Parent Association Update:

Next Meeting: September 25th at 6:00PM

 Email: Cambrian.schoolcouncil@gmail.com

Just like last year, we’re offering a hybrid format so you can attend in the way that works best for you — either in person at Cambrian Heights School or online via Microsoft Teams. If you’re able to make it in person, that’s wonderful (it’s always great to connect face-to-face!), but if it’s easier to join from home, we’ll have a video link ready for you.

Being part of School Council is one of the best ways to have a voice in what’s happening at the school. It’s where school staff share updates on learning, parents provide feedback on school initiatives, and we work together on plans that directly impact our students. Whether you’re passionate about events, fundraising, or just staying informed, your perspective matters — and you don’t have to commit to every meeting to make a difference.

And speaking of making a difference, School Council will once again be running our Apple Fundraiser, which is a delicious way to support school programs! Details have been sent home with students.

We can’t wait to see both familiar and new faces as we kick off another great year of working together to make CHS the best it can be for our kids.
