School Update:

Dear Families:

It has been absolutely wonderful having students back in the building! The energy, laughter, and learning that fill our school again have been such a welcome reminder of what makes Cambrian Heights School so special. Our students returned eager to reconnect with their classmates and teachers, ready to jump back into the rhythm of school life and the joy of learning together.

Working with your children each day is truly a privilege. Our focus now is on returning to a sense of normalcy, engaging students deeply in their learning, rebuilding routines, and strengthening the relationships that make our community thrive. Our staff is committed to moving forward in a good way and keeping our attention where it belongs: on our students and their growth.

We already have some exciting things happening next week…

• Calgary Crew Residency – A grassroots sports program connected to the Calgary Flames! Over four days, students will take part in floor hockey and flag football sessions focused on teamwork, skill-building, and fun physical activity.

• Remembrance Day Assembly – Our Grade 6 students will lead the school in honouring and remembering those who served.

• Lunchtime Soccer – Continues to bring students together for friendly competition, teamwork, and connection.

• Healthy Hunger Lunch – Our fabulous School Council has organized a Healthy Hunger lunch for students on Wednesday! Healthy Hunger is an easy online system that lets families order special lunches, with a portion of proceeds supporting our school. The last day to order is Monday, so if you haven’t already, you can place your order at https://healthyhunger.ca/

As we settle back in, our goal is to help students feel that life at school is back to normal – predictable, safe, and full of opportunities to learn and belong. I’m deeply grateful to be part of this community and so proud of the commitment our staff continues to show to our students and families.

Cambrian Heights School Spirit Wear Order Deadline Extended!

Good news! The deadline to order Cambrian Heights School Spirit Wear has been extended.  There’s still time to grab your Cougar gear and show your school pride!  Orders can be placed through our online school store at…

This year’s options include:

• Pullover hoodies in 4 colours
• T-shirts in 4 colours
• New this year…zip-up hoodies in 2 colours

Once the store closes, all orders will be processed and delivered to the school about two weeks later, then handed out to students.

Hello Cambrian Heights Families!

With the holidays coming up quickly, we are kicking off our Purdy’s Holiday Fundraiser.  Purdy’s has delicious chocolate that is a great option for gifts or stocking stuffers.  The last day to order will be Wednesday, November 19.  Orders will be ready to pick up by Wednesday, December 3.  We will send out an email once we have confirmed the pickup details.

Attached you will find a paper catalogue.  Feel free to share this fundraiser with your friends and family.  If you need any extra catalogues, please let us know.  The catalogue can also be accessed online.
