Kindergarten & Grade 2 Assembly – Thank You for Joining Us!
Thank you to all the families and friends who joined us for our Kindergarten and Grade 2 Sharing Assembly! We were so proud to see the amazing work and creativity from our students.
Ms. Harich's Kindergarten class captivated us with a heartfelt poem, a joyful song, and beautiful artwork inspired by their study of bears.
Our Grade 2 students from Ms. McDonald, Ms. Myers, and Ms. Kaur's classes showcased their learning around landforms through detailed clay artwork. Their clay models represented UNESCO World Heritage Sites and served as visual guides to explain the differences between rivers, lakes, oceans and mountains, hills, and plateaus to name a few. They also displayed their prairie-inspired art and read original poetry in the form of alliteration, rhyming couplets, and acrostic poems. We were treated to pictures and reflections from their recent field trip to Ralph Klein Park, and they concluded with a beautiful Earth Day song, reminding us all of the importance of caring for our planet.
A big thank you to our teachers for their hard work in preparing students for this event, to our students for their enthusiasm and effort, and to our parents and guardians for your ongoing support. We are so proud of what our students accomplished and grateful to share these moments with you!

A friendly reminder to please avoid parking in front of fire hydrants and on crosswalks during drop-off and pick-up times. We've had a few concerns raised by our parents, and we want to ensure everyone's safety.

Heartfelt Thanks to Our Incredible Community…
Dear Cambrian Heights School Families,
I am absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for the tremendous outpouring of support we received for our Elbow River Casino fundraiser, organized by our dedicated School Council. Because of your generosity and willingness to step up, they have filled almost every volunteer spot needed to secure nearly $80,000 in funding for our school. I cannot thank you enough for your commitment to our students. Your willingness to volunteer your time is a testament to the strength and unity of our community.
I am incredibly proud to serve as the Principal of a school where parents, guardians, and community members come together with such passion and dedication. This support allows us to dream big for our students, as the funds raised will go directly into enhancing their learning experience. From reducing the costs of field trips, creating opportunities to bring in resident experts, to transforming our school library into a vibrant hub for innovation and exploration, your efforts will leave a lasting impact.
Thank you once again for your generosity, enthusiasm, and unwavering support. It is because of you that Cambrian Heights continues to be a vibrant, thriving place to learn and grow.
I am deeply proud to serve this community and look forward to celebrating these successes together in the months to come.
With heartfelt appreciation,
Todd Webber
