School Update:
Fresh Fruit Initiative at Cambrian Heights School
We’re excited to share that Cambrian Heights School has accessed provincial grant funding through the Government of Alberta’s National Food Program Agreement to help enhance school food programming for our students.
Over the next two weeks leading to Spring Break, we’ll be introducing a fresh fruit initiative where students will regularly receive fruit during the school day. Some days might be Apple Day, others Orange Day, and we’re also working to source some more unique options to broaden students’ tastes and experiences – including fruits like kiwi!
This initiative supports our ongoing commitment to student well-being and healthy eating habits. Nutritious food helps students stay focused, energized, and ready to learn, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make fresh fruit more accessible during the school day.
If your child has any food allergies or dietary considerations we should be aware of, please reach out to their classroom teacher so we can plan accordingly.

Parent–Teacher Conferences are an important part of the partnership between home and school. They’re a time to celebrate student growth, share insights about learning, and talk together about next steps. When families and educators work as a team, students benefit in meaningful ways – academically, socially, and emotionally.
We hope to see you there!
With gratitude,
Todd Webber
